Steven Jens Has No Life
This is just a collection of some of my thoughts as they come to me -- sometimes even sooner.

Last night, around 8:30, I was thinking idly that my facial hair was annoying me. I wasn't thinking seriously about what I wanted to do with my facial hair -- my mind just sort of wandered onto the topic. I had been growing a goatee for a while, and hadn't shaved the rest of my face in a few days, because I had wanted a little protection from the cold for standing out on election day. But election day was past, and the hair was starting to irritate me. Even the goatee was irritating me more than it had been; maybe, I thought, I should trim that a little, too.

Shortly after 9:00, I decided to take a bath to fight a headache. While I was in the bathroom, I shaved my entire face. Everything gone.

Around 11:00 last night, I was thinking that my hair is too long...

Heading to a political function in Dedham last night, I took a wrong turn and got lost in Brookline. I came to a voting place, so I pulled over to ask some sign-holders for help getting back on track. One of them turned out to be Martha King, who was a staffer at Herzfelder for Treasurer; the Dedham people were also Herzfelder people, so she knew them, too.

Neat coincidence. Just that.
