Steven Jens Has No Life
This is just a collection of some of my thoughts as they come to me -- sometimes even sooner.

I spent most of the weekend around the house, dealing with a cold and making excel spreadsheets related to politics and football.

I did get out Saturday night. A friend, Jane, has recently started a new job in CT, so one of her former co-workers arranged a gathering to wish her well. I only knew five other people there, including Jane, though I'd seen some of the others before. It was a good time.

It was at Vinny Testa's, incidentally, and there wasn't a lot of interest in the left-overs, so my fridge is now relatively well-stocked.

I've been watching Dr. Who. "The Two Doctors" is the episode, from the Colin Baker era. Nicola Bryant, as Peri, displays some cleavage in this episode, which is the best one can hope for from her. Bryant is pleasant to look at, but she and Baker insist on delivering lines, and nothing good can come of that. I think it's mostly the writers' fault; their tenure on the show was not marked by brilliance.

"So, you're watching this... why?" you might ask. Or you might not. I certainly haven't, or I wouldn't be watching it. It does tie me to my youth, I suppose. And the fact that other periods of the show are good makes me more willing to watch the periods that aren't.
