I'm not here, but neither are you, right?
Just to update, not long after my last post here -- I believe it was November 19 -- I got a mailing from BU School of Management. They wanted to tell me about a program they had, which they thought might interest me. They were right -- it did interest me. The application deadline, though, was November 15. So I visited the School of Management on the 20th, and asked how hard that deadline was. The receptionist went into the depths of the office, and after several minutes returned with an answer: we can consider an application if you turn it in by tomorrow at five p.m.
I didn't sleep that night. I got a recommendation filled out quickly, I adapted some old essays to a new situation, I got a transcript from MIT. I turned in the application with several hours to spare. I got in.
So, I'm a student at BU now, part-time, on track to get a Master's of Science in Investment Management in May of next year. I passed level one of AIMR's CFA program in May, and am looking for a job. If you know of one, let me know, won't you?
