Steven Jens Has No Life
This is just a collection of some of my thoughts as they come to me -- sometimes even sooner.

Tomorrow night on Fox, Jessica Keenan, whom I knew from high school, will be performing as Madonna for $200,000. The guy who does Sinatra is pretty good, too.

My parents and I went to Plymouth yesterday and Gloucester and Salem today. Yesterday was spent primarily at Plimoth Plantation, which had a 1627 village with clearly well-trained actors and actresses, and a rather slipshod "Indian village" to represent the Wampanoag. This villiage consisted primarily of a bitter girl sitting in a longhouse and a few people stripping weeds. We also visited a replica of the Mayflower and saw the rock.

Today we mostly took pictures around Gloucester. We visited the pier where The Perfect Storm was filmed, and saw the Lady Grace, the ship that filled in for the Andrea Gale, despite the fact that none of us have seen the movie. I was surprised by how small the boat was and how unmarked the location. We also visited a lighthouse, and asked someone at an information booth why there was a British flag flying outside of the police station (between an American flag and a POW flag). She didn't know.

On our way back through Salem, we watched an allegedly award-winning film about the history of Essex county, and toured the House of the Seven Gables of which Nathaniel Hawthorne wrote.

I feel like I should write a conclusion to finish this entry, but I don't have one.
